Third Party Intermediation will often contribute experience and knowledge to a process in which one or both principal parties may have little or no experience and greatly enhance the outcome for both parties.  

An intermediary will often have immediate access to ‘the other party’ and may be able to identify a good fit quickly. An intermediary will often bring valuation expertise and assistance, will know what information will be important to the other party, what to uncover and disclose and what to withhold until the appropriate time. An intermediary can provide the oft needed distance between buyer and seller, can be there to ‘broker’ the reasoned consensus ultimately required to reach agreement, and will be there finally, to work with other professionals such as lawyers and accountants to complete and close the sale on the terms and conditions intended by the parties.

Business-Trader.com offers an online intermediation service, and while we are please and proud to offer the service, we don’t believe it can replace the value generally of a good, experienced, qualified, third party agent. We recommend that business owners thinking of doing it all on their own, consider the option and potential benefits of third party representation.

While we cannot (and we do not) vouch for the experience and qualifications of any, we think the affiliate and participating brokers list might provide a good place to begin an interview process, should you elect to do so.
